Jennifer Rudd

Jennifer has worked in various NHS mental health, learning disability and neurodevelopmental teams as a Speech and Language Therapist since 2012. She is experienced in working with children, young people and adults who experience a range of communication needs, and has a special interest in neurodevelopmental differences and Selective Mutism.

Jennifer currently works part time in an NHS CAMHS service conducting comprehensive assessments with children and young people.

Jennifer adopts her approach to suit the child and their family. She is especially experienced in supporting families through diagnosis, and providing specialist communication advice and recommendations. Jennifer has completed specialist training for autism assessment including the ADOS.

Jennifer joined CAYP Psychology in 2022 and offers appointments via Zoom video conferencing, and also appointments in the North East clinic in Gosforth. Jennifer is a registered Speech and Language Therapist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC SL30959) and also a member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RC0032954).
