- His articles have been published in every edition since February 2021 and have covered topics such as sharing, smacking, Squid Game, technology and online safety, rewards and praise, social media, sleep and healthy living habits, and the psychological benefits of playing with your children.
Paranormal Activity with Yvette Fielding
- Dr Daniel Weisberg shared his opinion on children’s understanding of the paranormal world. Yvette was interested to hear if children have more paranormal experiences than adults, and wanted to discuss whether this could be related to children and imaginary friends, or whether they actually have a stronger connection to the spirit world than adults.

- Dr Rachel Chin was interviewed for her expert opinion about self-soothe kits – kits that can buy people time when they are feeling overwhelmed or struggling to cope with a situation.

Westminster Education Forum
- Dr Daniel Weisberg presented to the forum chaired by Baroness Newlove and with a keynote by Dame Andrea Leadsom, MP.
- The discussions aimed to consider child development in the first 1,001 days of life
- The title of Dr Weisberg’s presentation was pre-set by the forum, which took place online, in June 2022
Holidays with the Kids
- Dr Daniel Weisberg wrote an advice piece for the growing blog, The Travel Psychologist (www.travelpsychologist.co.uk) who provide credible information about travel, psychology and the psychological benefits of travelling
- Dr Weisberg’s article highlighted the challenges of travelling with children, but also the overwhelming benefits
- He also provided some practical tips on how to reduce children’s anxieties, behavioural challenges and emotional distress, and foster self-belief, confidence and resilience.

Supporting Children Through Grief
- When the Queen died in September 2022, there was a lot of disruption, particularly for children.
- Dr Daniel Weisberg was asked to comment on the psychological impact of the Queen’s death, and how to support children through grief.
- He wrote an article for three regional newspapers: The Jewish Telegraph in Manchester, in Glasgow, and in Liverpool.
Exams and Wellbeing
- Dr Daniel Weisberg was interviewed for Greatest Hits Radio (York and North Yorkshire) to provide his opinion on young people’s emotional and psychological wellbeing during exam periods.
- At the time of the interview, children were completing SATs, GCSE and A-Level examinations.
- Dr Weisberg provided some suggestions for parents, to help support their children, as well as helping young people to look after themselves during a potentially stressful time

Why are Young People "Chroming?"

Dr Daniel Weisberg provided an opinion to Global Radio news about why young people are engaging in dangerous viral trends online.
- “Chroming” involves inhaling toxic substances to create a temporary high. It is exceptionally dangerous and young people have died by trying to recreate viral videos.
- Dr Weisberg’s opinion was shared on news bulletins across the Global network on 8 March 2024
A Rise in Violence in Schools
- At the end of February 2024, the Educational Institute of Scotland (EIS) released a report stating that a third of the 800 teachers surveyed in Aberdeen said they had been physically assaulted.
- Dr Daniel Weisberg was invited to talk with Martin Geissler on BBC Scotland’s primetime radio programme, Drivetime
- The brief conversation highlighted that children who are violent in school do not turn up one day and become violent. It is a gradual deterioration of behaviour and emotional control, and more early years support is essential.
