About Me
Jade is a Neurodevelopmental Assessment Practitioner with experience working with children and adults with neurodiversity and mental health complex needs. She has worked in the NHS, private and educational settings. Jade’s area of passion is supporting children and young people on the Autistic spectrum and/or with ADHD. She has worked with masking individuals and had experience identifying this.
Jade has experience working with children and young people with neurodevelopmental conditions, including Autism and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Jade conducts full Autism and ADHD diagnostic assessments. She is trained in ADOS-2 and ADI-R assessments which are the gold standard Autism diagnostic tools. She is also trained in QB tests for assessing ADHD.
Jade undertook a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in Education at the University of York obtaining a First-Class with Honours. Following this, she completed a Master’s Degree in Development, Disorders and Clinical Practice where was awarded a Distinction. Following this, Jade completed a PGDip Associate Psychological Practitioner course where she worked in the NHS supporting adults with complex mental health needs. During this time, she completed additional training in Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) skills.
Jade’s approach is always person centred and tailored to the individual’s needs. Her aim is to develop children’s and young people’s quality of life by enabling them to access the correct support to flourish as an individual.
