About Me
Jane is an experienced, warm and compassionate Clinical Psychologist specialising in child and adolescent mental health. She has worked in NHS mental health services for over 16 years, including 10 years in West Sussex CAMHS.
Jane’s therapeutic style is ‘integrative’ – she draws on a range of different therapy models to suit the person she is working with. She is clear and collaborative in her approach and always seeks to support young people and families to achieve their goals. Her areas of specialism include work with children, adolescents and young adults with symptoms of OCD, anxiety, and depression.
Jane has additional training and qualifications in assessing and working with Autism. She is also able to offer Cognitive Assessments.
Jane is qualified to offer Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) to both children and adults.
She is an Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) advanced practitioner and supervisor. IPT can be particularly useful when there has been a transition or change which may have impacted on mood.
Jane is also able to offer Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Compassion Focussed Therapy (CFT) within her work.
Jane has availability to offer fortnightly appointments (on Mondays), online or from a base in West Sussex.
Jane is a registered practitioner psychologist with the Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC, PYL26118).
