About Me
Hayley is a Highly Specialist Clinical Psychologist who has worked in the field of Clinical Psychology for over 12 years. Hayley’s professional career to date has been spent working within a variety of child and family mental health settings both in the NHS and within private or third sector organisations. Since becoming a qualified Clinical Psychologist, Hayley has worked within Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) across Greater Manchester.
Hayley is experienced in delivering approaches which support children and young people with a range of emotional, psychological, social and behavioural difficulties including anxiety, low mood, emotional dysregulation and self-harm. Throughout Hayley’s career she has also developed a special interest in working with cared for children and in using trauma and attachment informed approaches within her clinical practice. Hayley is able to offer a warm, compassionate and reflective space to support young people to make sense of their experiences and if necessary, provide them with a range of techniques or strategies to improve their mental health.
Hayley understands that children and young people’s difficulties often do not exist in isolation therefore has extensive experience in working collaboratively with parents and carers to develop their understanding of their child’s difficulties and support them in how to meet their child’s needs in the most helpful way. In her current role Hayley is involved in delivering training and consultation to education professionals and is especially passionate about supporting the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people within the school environment.
