About Me

Georgina is a Senior Clinical Psychologist who specialises in working with children, young people (CYP) and families who may be struggling with mental health difficulties and/or behaviours that challenge. Georgina aims to work in an integrative way using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and systemic informed approaches to ensure that the therapeutic approach is a good fit for the clients she works with. She prioritises a client-centred approach, putting the stories and experiences of the CYP and families at the heart of the work.

Georgina is also passionate about training, supervision, and helping other professionals to think psychologically about the people they work with. She has developed and delivered training for the teachers and senior leadership team at a London Special School to support a psychology-led approach throughout the school. She also leads systemic case consultations to support professionals’ psychological understanding and influence change within the wider system.

After studying psychology at the University of Bristol, Georgina went on to complete her master’s degree at King’s College London and her Professional Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of East London. Additional training includes Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and Non-Violent Resistance (NVR).

Georgina is a registered Practitioner Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) PYL041300.
