About Me

Georgia has worked with children and young people in several different settings including community CAMHS, a specialist safeguarding service offering trauma support and in services offering assessment for autism and ADHD. Georgia completed her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in Sheffield in 2020 and since then, has worked with young people directly as well as working with parents and carers to support children.

Georgia is able to offer support for a variety of presentations including low mood, anxiety and difficulties with emotion regulation. She is also able to support young people who have experienced trauma. Georgia is experienced in working with neurodiversity and is able to support children and young people who are neurodiverse, wherever they are in their journey to (or post) diagnosis. Georgia is passionate about improving post-diagnostic support for those who have received diagnoses of autism and/or ADHD in childhood. Georgia also has experience of completing cognitive assessments to further understand children’s unique strengths and areas of difficulty.

In her spare time, Georgia enjoys exploring the countryside with a hot chocolate, as well as cooking, baking and reading fiction.

Georgia is registered with the HCPC as a practitioner psychologist (PYL039394). Georgia is able to provide online support as well as face to face sessions in the Harrogate area.
