About Me
Clio is a Clinical Psychologist with over 10 years of dedicated work supporting children, young people, and their families across diverse settings, including schools and NHS teams specialising in both physical and mental health.
By using an integrative therapeutic approach tailored to individual strengths and needs, Clio uses Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) informed approaches to foster positive change and enhance emotional and psychological wellbeing.
In addition to therapeutic support, Clio can offer cognitive assessments to gain a deeper understanding of a child’s cognitive strengths and areas they may find more challenging. These assessments can provide valuable insights and guide recommendations for targeted and effective educational support.
Clio has research interests in the intersection of culture and mental health, with a strong background in exploring unconscious biases, cultural competency, and cultural awareness. Clio has published research and delivered training in these areas, demonstrating a commitment to promoting inclusivity and understanding in mental health practice.
Clio is a registered Practitioner Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) PYL044432.
