About Me
Claire has worked in mental health services in the NHS for 9 years and has experience of working with children and adults who experience a wide range of difficulties and distress. She completed her undergraduate and masters psychology degrees at Durham University before moving to Newcastle.
Since qualifying in 2018 from Newcastle University, Claire has worked in a variety of roles in the NHS with a particular focus on early intervention. Claire currently works full time in the NHS for Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear Foundation Trust.
Claire uses an integrative approach based on individual strengths and needs and draws on a number of models in her therapy including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Family Therapy in order to support change and increase individual wellbeing.
