About Me

Bethany is a HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist with experience working across NHS mental health and paediatric services. She specialises in supporting children, young people and families experiencing emotional difficulties in the context of health challenges, trauma and life stressors.

Bethany currently works within a specialist children’s hospital, providing psychological support within paediatric critical care and burns services. In this role, she works closely with multidisciplinary teams to support children and families adjusting to serious illness, injury, and complex medical treatment.

Bethany has also worked with individuals with learning disabilities in both the UK and the USA, supporting a range of emotional, behavioural, and adjustment difficulties.

Bethany works compassionately and collaboratively, tailoring therapy to each child and family. She draws on a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), trauma-informed approaches, and systemic thinking. She has a particular interest in working with trauma and in using creative and flexible approaches to support children, young people, and families.

Bethany is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Practitioner Psychologist (PYL047619)
