About Me
Anne has worked in NHS mental health services for over 13 years. Since qualifying as a clinical psychologist in 2010, she has specialised in child and adolescent mental health and has worked with a wide range of psychological difficulties. Anne is currently employed by Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust where she continues to work. In particular Anne specialises in working with children and young people who have experienced trauma and anxiety disorders.
She was awarded a Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Children and Young People by the University of Manchester in 2018. She has also undertaken further training in Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).
Prior to training as a Clinical Psychologist, Anne worked as a research assistant at the University of Manchester in the fields of forensic mental health, substance misuse and suicide prevention. She completed her PhD investigating suicidal behaviour in female prisoners in 2008.
Anne is a registered practitioner psychologist with the Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC, PYL25771).
