About Me

Roslyn has over thirty years experience within the NHS in the West of Scotland, understanding and supporting the speech, language and communication needs of children and young people. She has worked within mainstream and specialist educational settings, including a specialist resource for young children with Developmental Language Disorder and a resource within a mainstream primary school that supported young people with autism. Roslyn enjoys working in partnership with health and education colleagues as part of a multidisciplinary team to support a child or young person.

Roslyn has most recently worked in a speech and language therapy role within a CAMHS neurodevelopmental team. Here, she worked in partnership with Clinical Psychology and Nursing colleagues to provide complex neurodevelopmental assessments and post assessment supports for children and young people. She is highly experienced in the diagnostic assessment of ASD and Developmental Language Disorder.

Roslyn understands the impact of speech, language and communication needs on relationships, education and mental health. Following assessment, she can help you understand and can work with you, your family and others around you to develop strategies and adaptations to support you effectively at home, school and within your wider interests. She has a particular interest in helping the wider system around you understand what they can adapt and change to support you.

Roslyn is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (SL08970).

Roslyn is also registered with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RC0011746).
