About Me

Saffron has worked in mental health services since 2014 with individuals across the lifespan experiencing a wide range of psychological difficulties. She has experience working with children, young people and their families, which she gained working in services such as Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), Looked after Children, Perinatal, and Paediatrics. Since qualifying as a Clinical Psychologist, Saffron has predominantly worked in a specialist Perinatal Mental Health Team.

Saffron completed her undergraduate Psychology degree at Nottingham Trent University. She went on to complete a Postgraduate Certificate in Evidence-Based Psychological Treatment at the University of Reading. She was awarded a Distinction in MSc Foundations in Clinical Psychology and Health Services from Goldsmiths, University of London. She then completed her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Surrey. During her doctorate she published her systematic review on parents’ experiences raising a child with type 1 diabetes in a peer reviewed journal.

Saffron joined CAYP Psychology in 2022 and offers online evening appointments.
