About Me

Rose has worked with the NHS, charities, education and social care for the past 13 years. She understands that distress, trauma, pain and loss are things many of us experience somewhere along our journey through life, and that we all benefit from support from time to time.

Rose has extensive experience working with adults, couples, parents, children and families of all shapes and sizes, including adoptive and foster families. The foundation of her work is to provide people with a compassionate, non-judgmental space where they can begin to feel safe, supported and accepted for who they are and the life they want to live.

Rose draws from a variety of therapeutic models and theories, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, EMDR (Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and Attachment-Focused Family Therapy and Parenting informed by Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy.

Rose can also provide cognitive assessments to help understand strengths and difficulties in learning, thinking, memory and processing information. With meaningful clinical interpretations, Rose can advocate for support for children and adults within work and education, including assessment and diagnosis of specific learning difficulties (such as dyslexia and dyscalculia), and understanding the impact of neurodiversity and sensory differences in education. Rose is passionate about children and young people’s needs being understood within education, and can provide evidence to help inform EHC Needs Assessment or other support within schools.

Rose is a registered Practitioner Psychologist with the HCPC (PYL37603).
