About Me

Lisa has worked in the NHS for 14 years and has extensive experience of working with children and adolescents and their families and carers.

Since qualifying as a Clinical Psychologist, Lisa has worked in Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust, Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust and Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust, respectively, and has worked in core services, learning disability services, safeguarding services and services for cared for children. Lisa is currently employed by Greater Manchester Mental Health Foundation Trust, working in Perinatal services. Lisa specialises in working with trauma, understanding attachment issues and emotional regulation difficulties and working with parents and carers. Lisa has experience of providing supervision, consultation and training to carers and professionals.

Lisa obtained a first class honours degree in Psychology from The University of Warwick (2005). Lisa worked as an assistant psychologist prior to completing the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Sheffield (2011).

Lisa joined CAYP psychology in 2021 and can offer work online and from the Whitefield clinic.

Lisa is a registered practitioner psychologist with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC, PYL27347)
