About Me

Ben has recently moved back to the North West from London where he has worked in a number of different roles across charity, NHS and social care services since 2013.

Ben has had experience working with children and families in neurodevelopmental, eating disorder and social care settings. Ben is passionate about empowering people to understand their difficulties in order to make informed changes to support their wellbeing. He pragmatically draws upon a number of different therapy models and theories to support this development, such as Systemic theories, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), Narrative Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Ben currently works in a Neuropsychology service working with adults living with acquired brain injuries or neurological conditions and hopes to be able to utilise some of the skills learnt from this practice to support children, young people and families.

Ben obtained a postgraduate psychology masters from the University of East London. He completed year 1 of Association of Family Therapy systemic training with the Centre for Systemic Social Work and completed his doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of East London. Ben is available for face-to-face and remote appointments, via Zoom video conferencing.
